Hands-in hand dryers: series and versions

With a hands-in hand dryer, you insert your hands into an opening from above and slowly draw them upwards. Two air streams blow the water off both sides at once. Hands do not stay wet for long and queues at the washbasin are reduced. Because you need no paper towels, you refill less often and less waste is left behind.

Dyson Airblade dB

The Airblade dB (AB14) in grey is a well-known hands-in unit from Dyson. It is designed for washrooms with many users. For this model you will also find HEPA filters and a drip tray in plastic or stainless steel among the accessories.

Mitsubishi Jet Towel Slim

The Jet Towel Slim is a compact, slim model that also fits well in narrower spaces. You can choose between white, grey and dark grey, so the unit matches a plain or modern interior.

Veltia Tri-Blade and 300 V7

The Veltia Tri-Blade and Veltia 300 V7 come in a wide range of colours: white, silver, matt aluminium, blue, deep blue, burgundy, cherry red, champagne and black. This lets you choose a colour that suits your corporate style or interior. HEPA filter sets and odour tabs are available for both series.

Delabie Speedjet 2

The Speedjet 2 from Delabie is available in white, anthracite and matt black. Delabie is a well-known name in sanitary fittings for public spaces. For this unit too, you will find a replacement HEPA filter in our range.

PlastiQline Twinflow, U-flow and Losdi Elegance

The PlastiQline Twinflow (white, black or stainless steel look) and U-flow (white, grey or black) and the Losdi Elegance (white or silver/grey) complete the range. They offer more choice of shape and finish for every washroom.

Checklist for choosing a hands-in hand dryer: space, mounting height, noise, water management, electrical connection and colour

Which spaces are they for?

A hands-in model comes into its own where many people dry their hands one after another: offices with many staff, hospitality venues, schools, sports halls, airports and other public buildings. Short of space or working with a smaller washroom? Then a more compact unit from our hands-under hand dryers may be a better fit.

What to look for

Available space: measure the wall and the distance to the washbasin, as hands-in units are deeper than conventional models.
Mounting height: take the users into account, for example children in a school or wheelchair users.
Noise: in a quiet setting, such as an office or care facility, a quieter unit is pleasant. Compare the product details.
Water management: many hands-in units collect the water blown off the hands, which keeps the floor beneath the unit drier.
Electrical connection: provide a suitable power supply in the right place on the wall.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a hands-in and a hands-under hand dryer?

With a hands-in model, you insert your hands into the unit and both sides are dried at once. With a hands-under model, you hold your hands beneath the air stream. You will find an overview of all types among our hand dryers.

Can I install a hands-in hand dryer myself?

The unit hangs on the wall and needs an electrical connection. If in doubt, have it fitted by a qualified installer or ask us about our installation service.

Where can I find filters and spare parts?

HEPA filters, drip trays and other accessories for the Airblade dB, the Veltia Tri-Blade and 300 V7 and the Speedjet 2, among others, can be found in the accessories.
