Active aroma diffusers (6)

Active aroma diffusers for a fresh-smelling washroom

Active aroma diffusers release fragrance into the room on their own, without anyone having to press a button. They use a mechanism that spreads the scent at regular intervals or continuously, so a washroom smells fresh throughout the day. A small unit like this makes a noticeable difference to how visitors experience the space.

Versions

• Plastic air freshener: light and affordable, available in white or with a stainless steel look.
• Stainless steel air freshener: a robust, premium version that matches other stainless steel accessories.
• Refillable: the units take a refill, so you can easily switch fragrances.
• Understated design: the units are discreet and fit into almost any washroom.

Applications

An active aroma diffuser is a logical choice for toilets in offices, restaurants, bars and hotels, where a fresh scent contributes to a well-kept impression. In schools, sports facilities and busy public buildings it also helps to mask unpleasant odours. In waiting rooms and reception areas it creates a pleasant atmosphere.

What to consider when choosing

• Room size: a small toilet needs less fragrance output than a large washroom.
• Refills: check which refills fit the unit and how often you want to replace them.
• Material and colour: choose white, plastic with a stainless steel look or stainless steel to match your other accessories.
• Placement: mount the unit high enough and away from direct draughts for good distribution.

These air fresheners are available from brands such as MediQo-line, PlastiQline, Qbic-line and Wings.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an active and a passive diffuser?
An active aroma diffuser spreads the scent using a mechanism inside the unit. A passive version releases fragrance through natural evaporation, without moving parts.

Can I choose the fragrance myself?
Yes, simply switch to a different refill to change the scent. Check the refills to see which fragrances are available.
