Spray soap dispensers for handwashing and hand sanitising

Spray soap dispensers deliver soap or sanitiser as a fine mist that spreads evenly over the hands. As a result, each use requires less product and the area around the basin stays cleaner. Many models in this category are suitable for both hand soap and hand sanitiser.

Types of spray dispensers

• Capacity: from compact 250 and 400 ml dispensers to 900, 1000, 1200 and 1500 ml models for busy washrooms.
• Operation: manual with a push button, with a short (KB) or long lever (LB) for elbow operation, or automatic with a sensor.
• Materials: stainless steel, aluminium, black stainless steel and plastic in white or other finishes.
• Special versions: a DUO dispenser with two reservoirs, a combined soap and towel dispenser, and aluminium models in an ingo-man version.

Applications

Spray soap dispensers are particularly well suited to care facilities, laboratories and practices, where hand sanitising is part of every working day. Lever operation is useful there because the dispenser is not touched with the hands. In offices, schools, hospitality venues and public buildings, an automatic spray dispenser provides touch-free and economical handwashing.

What to consider when choosing

• Type of product: check whether the dispenser is designed for soap, sanitiser or both.
• Refill system: choose between a refillable reservoir or a system with bottles or cartridges.
• Operation: in medical settings elbow operation or a sensor is preferable to a push button.
• Capacity and footfall: the more users, the larger the capacity you should choose.

You will find spray dispensers from Mediclinics, MediQo-line, PlastiQline, Qbic-line and Wings, among others.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a spray soap dispenser and a standard soap dispenser?
A standard dispenser releases liquid soap as a stream or drops, while a spray dispenser atomises the product. This spreads the soap more evenly and helps limit consumption.

Can I use hand sanitiser in a spray dispenser?
Yes, with models labelled as soap and sanitiser dispensers. Always use a product that is suitable for spraying.
