Versions and sizes

A suitable bin keeps your washroom tidy and hygienic. Paper towels, packaging and other waste disappear from view immediately, which makes cleaning easier. Here you will find bins from Mediclinics, PlastiQline, Qbic-line, MediQo-line, Wings, Dutch Bins and SanTRAL, in stainless steel, aluminium, white, black, high gloss and plastic.

Open bins

An open bin lets users dispose of waste quickly and without touching anything, ideal next to a towel dispenser. You will find open models from 9 to 85 litres, such as the Mediclinics open bin of 25, 65 or 80 litres, the Qbic-line open bin up to 85 litres and the Wings open bin of 9, 20 or 56 litres.

Swing lid and half open

With a swing-lid bin, waste is pushed through a flap that closes again by itself. This keeps the waste better out of sight. PlastiQline offers swing bins of 23 and 43 litres, also with a stainless steel look, and the PlastiQline Exclusive is available as a 23 litre half-open model.

Closed and with foot or knee operation

Closed bins keep waste and odours in better, for example the Mediclinics closed bins of 65 and 80 litres or the Qbic-line closed bins from 9 to 85 litres. With the SanTRAL closed bin with foot pedal or a PlastiQline bin with knee operation of 8 or 20 litres, you open the lid hands-free.

Compact bins, waste baskets and bag holders

For a toilet cubicle or a small office, choose a compact bin of 6 to 15 litres, such as the MediQo-line bins in white, aluminium or stainless steel, or the 7 litre Dutch Bins bin. For busy rooms, there are MediQo-line waste baskets up to 60 litres and Dutch Bins stainless steel bag holders of 60 and 120 litres.

Bin selection guide: compact bins of 6 to 15 litres, medium of 18 to 30 litres, large of 40 to 65 litres and extra large of 80 to 120 litres

Which spaces?

Bins are needed in every washroom, from offices and schools to hospitality, shops, care facilities and public buildings. Large open models suit busy toilets with towel dispensers. Closed models are advisable in healthcare, kitchens and rooms where odour nuisance must be avoided. In sports halls and public buildings, a 120 litre bag holder helps reduce the number of times the bin has to be emptied. You will find more products for managing waste and odours under waste and air freshening.

Frequently asked questions

What capacity do I need next to a towel dispenser?

Paper towels take up a lot of volume. In a busy toilet, it is best to choose a spacious bin so you need to empty it less often. In a small toilet with few users, a smaller model is enough.

Why a closed bin?

A lid keeps waste out of sight and limits odours, which is a particular advantage in healthcare and small rooms. With foot or knee operation, nobody has to touch the lid by hand.

Where should hygiene waste go in ladies' toilets?

For sanitary towels and other hygiene waste, it is best to use a separate closed bin in the cubicle. You will find these under sanitary bins, together with sanitary bag holders.
