Taps for sanitary facilities | Contactless & water-saving | Hygiëne-shop.be (22)

Taps for professional washrooms need to be hygienic, economical and robust. Here you will find self-closing and electronic basin taps from Delabie for offices, hospitality, schools and public buildings. For larger numbers or a renovation project, we are happy to prepare a custom quote.

What types of taps are there?

In a public or busy washroom, you want to avoid a tap being left running or everyone touching the same handle. That is why the range consists of taps that close automatically or work without contact. They are part of our wider Sanitary & washroom fittings range.

Self-closing tap: Delabie Temposoft 2

A self-closing tap is operated with a short push. After hand washing, the tap closes by itself, so it is never left running. The Temposoft 2 is a simple and robust choice for washrooms with a lot of foot traffic.

Electronic basin tap: Delabie TEMPOMATIC 4

The TEMPOMATIC 4 works with a sensor: water flows as soon as hands are placed under the tap and stops when they are removed. Because nothing needs to be touched, you limit the transfer of bacteria via the tap.

Electronic basin tap: Delabie BINOPTIC

The BINOPTIC is also a touch-free electronic basin tap. You can choose the standard version or black, which pairs well with black washbasins, control plates and toilets in a modern interior.

Electronic mixer tap: Delabie TEMPOMATIC MIX 4

If you want touch-free operation while still mixing hot and cold water, the TEMPOMATIC MIX 4 is the logical choice. This electronic mixer tap combines sensor operation with control of the water temperature.

Which spaces and sectors?

Professional taps are used in offices, hospitality, schools, sports facilities, care facilities and public buildings. Self-closing taps suit rooms with intensive use, where simple operation comes first. Electronic taps are worthwhile where hygiene is especially important, such as in healthcare, in hospitality kitchens and in washrooms used by many different people. Combine the tap with a suitable washbasin and other units from Sanitary & washroom fittings for a complete washbasin area.

What to look for

• Operation: choose between a self-closing push-button tap and a touch-free electronic tap.
• Water temperature: if users should be able to set the temperature themselves, opt for a mixer tap such as the TEMPOMATIC MIX 4.
• Connection and power: check in the product details which water and, where relevant, power connection the tap requires.
• Finish: match the colour to the rest of the room, for example with the BINOPTIC in black.
• Usage: the busier the room, the more important a tap that closes by itself and needs little maintenance.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a self-closing and an electronic tap?

A self-closing tap such as the Temposoft 2 is operated with a short push and then closes by itself. An electronic tap such as the TEMPOMATIC 4 or the BINOPTIC works with a sensor, so you do not need to touch the tap at all.

Do these taps save water?

Yes. Because they close automatically, a tap is never left running after someone has washed their hands. That limits unnecessary water use, especially in busy washrooms.

Can I install a tap myself?

Electronic taps need a water connection and a power supply. We recommend having the installation carried out by a professional. For advice on choosing the right tap, you can always contact us.
