Hand dryers (51)

Hand dryers for offices, hospitality, schools and public washrooms: hands-in, hands-under and tap + dryer models from brands such as Dyson, Mitsubishi, Veltia and Delabie. A hygienic alternative to paper towels. For larger quantities or projects, we are happy to provide a quote.

Which types of hand dryers are there?

Electric hand dryers replace paper towels in busy washrooms. You avoid paper waste, overflowing bins and the constant refilling of dispensers. The right unit depends on the number of users, the space available and the look you want. Below you will find the four groups in our range.

Hands-in hand dryers

With a hands-in hand dryer, you insert your hands into the unit from above and slowly draw them upwards. Both sides of the hands are dried at the same time. Well-known series include the Dyson Airblade dB, the Mitsubishi Jet Towel Slim, the Veltia Tri-Blade and 300 V7, the Delabie Speedjet 2 and the PlastiQline Twinflow. They come in many colours, from white and silver to burgundy and matt black.

Hands-under hand dryers

With a hands-under hand dryer, you hold your hands beneath the unit. These models are more compact and fit well in smaller spaces, above or next to the washbasin. Examples are the Dyson Airblade V and Airblade 9kJ, the Mitsubishi Jet Towel Smart, the Onyx Pebble and several Dryflow models. A sensor starts the unit as soon as you hold your hands beneath it and stops it automatically afterwards.

Tap + dryer

With a tap + dryer, you wash and dry your hands at the washbasin. Users do not have to move and less water drips onto the floor. The Dyson Airblade Wash+Dry is available with a short neck, a long neck or for wall mounting. There is also the Dryflow AquaDry Wash & Dry and a 4-function mirror cabinet from Delabie. As there is no separate dryer on the wall, you keep more wall space free.

Parts and filters

For existing units you will find accessories: HEPA filters for Dyson, Veltia, Delabie and Dryflow, drip trays for the Airblade dB, stainless steel wall plates and odour tabs for Veltia. This keeps your hand dryer hygienic and tidy. In busy washrooms in particular, it pays to replace filters on time and keep spare parts to hand.

Which spaces are they for?

Hand dryers suit offices, hospitality venues, schools, sports clubs, shopping centres, care facilities and public buildings with many visitors. In high-traffic spaces, a hands-in model or a tap + dryer is the best choice, so no queue forms at the washbasin. A compact hands-under hand dryer fits well in a smaller office washroom, a practice or a staff room. In prestige washrooms of hotels, restaurants and offices that receive clients, many customers choose a tap + dryer or a design model in colour.

What to look for

• Number of visitors: the busier the space, the more important a short drying time and a robust unit become.
• Available space: hands-in units are deeper, hands-under models are more compact and a tap + dryer takes up no extra wall space.
• Hygiene: units with a HEPA filter blow filtered air onto the hands. Replace the filter in line with the manufacturer's recommendations.
• Noise: in offices, practices and care facilities, a quieter unit is more pleasant. Compare the product details for this.
• Appearance: choose a colour or finish that matches your interior, such as white, black, grey, nickel, silver or a bold colour.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between hands-in and hands-under?

With a hands-in hand dryer, you insert your hands into an opening and dry both sides at once. With a hands-under model, you hold your hands beneath the unit. It takes up less space and is easy to combine with a washbasin.

Can you also install the hand dryer?

Yes, we take care of hand dryer installation. A hand dryer is fixed to the wall and connected to the mains. Contact us to discuss the situation on site.

Which filter fits my hand dryer?

Check the model name or type code on the unit or in the manual, for example AB14, HU02 or HU03, and compare it with the product name in the accessories. If in doubt, feel free to contact us.
