Types of professional hair dryers

Professional hair dryers are fixed wall units for bathrooms and changing rooms. They are always ready in the same place, do not go missing and are easy to clean. This lets you offer guests and members comfort without loose hair dryers that quickly wear out or disappear. Our range includes several series, each with its own controls and look.

Push-button hair dryers

With a push-button hair dryer, the user decides when the unit blows. Examples are the Mediclinics push-button hair dryer with hose, in white or stainless steel look, and the Valera Action 1200 Push. This type is easy to use and suits changing rooms well.

Automatic hair dryers

An automatic hair dryer starts as soon as you use it, without a button. One example is the Mediclinics automatic hair dryer in white. This is even simpler for users and practical in busy changing rooms.

Valera Hotello and Premium for hotel rooms

The Valera Hotello (also in Silver, as Shaver and as BLDC) and the Premium series are well-known choices for hotel bathrooms. The Premium Smart 1200 and 1600 are available in a Socket and a Shaver version.

Models with socket: Shaver and Socket

Versions with Shaver or Socket in the name have an integrated socket, for example for an electric shaver. Besides the Hotello Shaver and the Premium Smart, you will also find the Excel 1600 Shaver in white or silver.

Valera Action Super Plus and Excel 1800 TF

The Action Super Plus 1600, in black or white, and the Excel 1800 TF complete the range. This lets you choose a colour and version that suit your bathroom or changing room.

Which spaces are they for?

Wall-mounted hair dryers are widely used in hotel rooms, B&Bs, fitness centres, swimming pools, sports halls and school changing rooms. They are also practical in care facilities and residential care homes, as the unit stays safely on the wall. Hotels often choose a model with a socket, while sports clubs and swimming pools tend to opt for a robust push-button or automatic model. You will find more fittings for bathrooms and washrooms under sanitary and washroom fittings.

What to look for

• Intensity of use: in a sports club or swimming pool, choose a robust model that can be used many times in a row.
• Controls: a push button gives control, an automatic model is even simpler.
• Extra features: an integrated socket is an asset in hotel bathrooms.
• Finish: white, black, silver, chrome or stainless steel look, matched to the rest of the interior.
• Electrical installation: have a fixed hair dryer connected in line with the applicable regulations for bathrooms.

Frequently asked questions

Why a wall-mounted hair dryer instead of a loose one?

A wall model is fixed, does not disappear and is designed for repeated use by different people. It also stays neatly in place, which keeps the bathroom tidy.

What does Shaver or Socket in the product name mean?

These models have a socket, for example for an electric shaver, so guests do not need an extra power point.

Are there accessories for hair dryers too?

Yes, in the hair dryer accessories you will find the Valera Jolly Chrome, among others. If you are unsure whether an accessory fits your unit, please contact us.
