Which toilet rolls are available?

Traditional toilet rolls are the classic rolls with a cardboard core. They fit a standard roll holder and dispensers for several rolls. The main choices are the number of plies, the number of sheets per roll and the pack size. In this category you will find four rolls, from economical to extra soft.

HS Toilet paper virgin pulp 2 ply, 200 sheets

An economical 2 ply roll in virgin pulp with 200 sheets per roll, packed in 48 rolls. A solid choice for everyday use in offices, canteens and staff toilets, with a good balance between price and comfort.

HS Toilet paper virgin pulp 2 ply, 400 sheets

The same 2 ply quality, but with 400 sheets per roll, packed in 40 rolls. Because a roll holds twice as many sheets, you need to replace it less often. That is handy in toilets that are used more frequently.

HS Toilet paper virgin pulp 3 ply, 250 sheets

A softer and stronger 3 ply roll with 250 sheets, packed in 72 rolls. A good choice if you want to offer visitors, customers or staff a little extra comfort without switching to premium paper.

Tork Extra Soft Toilet Paper T4 Premium 4 ply

The Tork Premium 4 ply roll is the softest toilet paper in this category. It belongs to the Tork T4 system for traditional rolls and is intended for washrooms where comfort and appearance come first, such as hotels or customer areas.

For which spaces?

Traditional toilet rolls are ideal for toilets with a limited to average number of visitors. Think of small and medium-sized offices, practices, meeting rooms, smaller hospitality venues and staff toilets in shops or workshops.

For very busy washrooms, such as in schools, sports halls or public toilets, larger system rolls are often more practical. You will find them in our full range of toilet paper, together with compact rolls, jumbo rolls and folded toilet paper.

What to look for

• Number of plies: 2 ply is the standard, 3 ply is softer and stronger, 4 ply premium is extra soft.
• Sheets per roll: more sheets per roll means fewer roll changes, as with the 400 sheet roll.
• Pack size and storage: the rolls come in packs of 40, 48 or 72. Check how much storage space you have.
• Roll holder or dispenser: traditional rolls fit a standard roll holder. If you use a Tork dispenser, choose paper for the right system.
• Audience: for staff toilets 2 ply is often enough; for customers or guests, 3 or 4 ply is the better choice.

Frequently asked questions

How many plies do I need?

For most businesses, 2 ply toilet paper is sufficient. If you want to offer more comfort, choose 3 ply. For hotels, high-end washrooms or customer toilets, Tork Premium 4 ply is the logical choice.

What is the advantage of a roll with more sheets?

A roll with 400 sheets lasts longer than a roll with 200 sheets. You replace rolls less often and the chance of a toilet running out of paper becomes smaller.

When are jumbo or mid-size rolls the better choice?

When a toilet is used very heavily, a traditional roll runs out quickly. Larger rolls in a closed dispenser are then more practical. You will find them in our toilet paper range.
