Types of paper hand towels

Paper hand towels are taken from a dispenser one at a time. Which towels you need depends mainly on the fold that suits your dispenser. You then choose the material and the number of plies, depending on the level of comfort you want to offer.

Z-fold hand towels

Z-fold hand towels are folded in a Z shape and interlock, so that after each towel the next one is ready. They fit most standard folded towel dispensers. We offer the HS Z-fold in 2-ply cellulose, the HS Z-fold in recycled paper and the Tork Xpress Z-fold Hand Towel Advanced 2-ply.

Multifold and interfold

Multifold and interfold hand towels are folded several times and are also interleaved. The Tork Xpress Multifold Hand Towel is available in a standard and an extra soft 2-ply version. As an economical alternative there is the HS X-fold interfold hand towel.

Tork PeakServe Continuous

Tork PeakServe Continuous hand towels are linked together and dispensed continuously: when someone takes a towel, the next one is already waiting. This system is intended for busy washrooms and requires its own PeakServe dispenser.

Cellulose or recycled

Cellulose hand towels are soft and strong and dry hands quickly. Recycled hand towels, such as the HS Z-fold recycled white 1-ply (5000 towels) and recycled tissue 2-ply (3200 towels), are an economical and more sustainable choice for everyday use.

1-ply or 2-ply

1-ply hand towels are economical and are enough in many spaces. 2-ply hand towels are thicker and absorb better, so users often need fewer towels. They also give a more polished impression.
